A simple sound slider prototype made on a FPS controller example using Audio listeners and Mixers to adjust sound effects and music in game. Useful for menus and learning how to set up and control audio

This was the 14th assignment for the class, working with audio, menus, sliders and audio channels. Each new and useful concepts for the future of learning game development. Needing to set up the audio listeners to listen for the audio and Audio Mixer for Master, SFX and Music, Programming the sliders to call the respective audio channel, and set up the float for each slider to lower and raise the volume respectively. This doesn't have to be locked to sliders either as sliders are just an easy to use interface as it's still numbers that control the volume.

While this is very basic in what it does it show the concept of interacting with audio and adjusting to how you see if. Obviously it's useful for menu design such as sound test or simply just volume in game. Couple that with being able to make more groups to control certain aspects of sounds without having to hard edit the audio to your liking such as separating player sounds from enemy etc.

While not the most complex concept learn i would say it's the most useful even expanding beyond game development cause audio control is key to an experience of any form of media.
